It’s hard, but it’s also never been easier. With the exception of some delicious popcorn (worth every bite), I’ve been comfortably AIP for while now. Here’s an average day in the life:
Breakfast: 2 Wellshire farm pork sausage links, 1.5C frozen broccoli, sometimes a banana, sometimes coffee or tea
Snack: Banana chips with all-fruit pieces from Trader Joes
Lunch: Huge salad with carrots, cucumber, and meat (Either london broil or chicken)
Snack: 2C dinner leftovers (dishes like sweet potatoes and beef or chicken curry, etc)
Dinner: Chicken breast with plate of vegetables (sometimes crudites, sometimes spinach/mushroom/garlic/lard fry, depending on energy levels)
This is still probably more fruit than most AIP peeps would recommend, but I’ve been feeling good so I don’t restrict it too much (though I do avoid it at night so I can fall asleep easier).
