I’m not so big on jewels and expensive pieces (when we got married, JHubbs and I chose simple gold bands), but I do love original and peculiar jewelry if it has the right price tag on it. Over the course of my life, I’ve noticed that it is also from far and wide: the geography of my jewelry takes me all over the East Coast…
Georgia – Top Left
These chainmail-like earrings are from our honeymoon in Savannah, GA. I saw them (and their price tag) and immediately knew they were mine because they reminded me of a strange tree seed I remember from growing up in my neighborhood. I couldn’t find a photo online, but I promise the resemblance is uncanny.
Tennessee – Top Right
These studs came from the Polo outlet in Pigeon Forge, TN, which is only notable because we go there once a year to visit with our in-laws. This isn’t especially original, since simple studs are very popular right now, but I love them.
Virginia – Bottom
And finally, from my current place of living, these glorious arrow earrings came from the large outdoor mall in Richmond, VA, and was a birthday present from JHubbs. Any The Castle in the Attic nerds around?
