This week is abbreviated and sporadic, like most things on the blog lately. I’d like to use this opportunity to wish you a happy, relaxing Thanksgiving, and (if your job is anything like mine) some time away from the keyboard.
To add on to a short list I texted a wonderful lady last week, I am thankful for:
- The transformative power of prayer and food (unrelated to each other, of course)
- This guy
- Living in America
- Health insurance (no matter how expensive)
- JHubb’s openness to just about everything: new foods, minimalism, my freelancing. He makes my everyday awesome.
- That both JHubb’s and my parents are alive and well (many people my age, older, and younger have lost a parent and that’s something to be considerate about through the holidays).
Man, oh, man… the list goes on of things I don’t deserve but somehow get. Here’s to being thankful for it all 365!
I’ll also use this as an opportunity to announce that Life [Comma] Etc is going to drop to a two-times-per-week posting schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays you’ll still hear from me. Fridays and Saturdays, decidedly not. At least until I wade out of this burnout and find some “fun” computer time to use with you.
The good news? Ideally this means higher-quality posts on those days, instead of scribbling down whatever I can think of. I’ll throw in some Freelance Fridays on those Wednesdays just to confuse people, and maybe some They Said It Best quotes as I work through Moby Dick.
