If you’ve partnered off or procreated, chances are at some point you’ll need to meet the nutritional needs of a few people all at once.
Here’s a super simple example of how we do that. JHubbs needs tons of calories and extra carbs. I need fewer (though on Paleo, still as many as I want or need). But we have the same grocery budget, grocery list, and food prep time.
The first step, from The Paleo Mom, is to just eat more when you eat. In this example, we both had salads for dinner. But JHubbs got a little more meat, lettuce, and blue cheese, as well as the addition of dried fruit. I got less of everything and no dried fruit, and JHubbs might follow the meal up with a banana.
To mimic this step in the morning, JHubbs has started having a pre-breakfast shake of coconut milk, two raw eggs, frozen fruit, and a banana. It has drastically improved his appetite and sense of fullness in the mornings!
